On this holiday weekend we are thankful to all our new investors for helping us cross yet another milestone in our crowdfunding campaign — we wish everyone a happy and safe weekend surrounded by loved ones 😊

As we race towards the end of another year (and decade!) we thought all of you — our community, shareholders and interested parties — would love to see Vampr’s impact on the world in 2019.

It’s mind blowing stuff.

Between January and November, Vampr users have:

All of this has resulted in the creation of tens of thousands of new songs in 2019 alone (extrapolated from previous user survey data)

For the statisticians amongst you, this translates into the following milestones for the year:

These are impact metrics that every stakeholder of Vampr can and should be proud of — especially when factoring in the distractions we faced with capital raising this year. Ultimately these numbers are a testament to and reflection of the passion and loyalty of the Vampr community.

Nevertheless, we are laser focused on blowing these numbers out of the water in 2020 😉 We’re also chomping at the bit to deliver the new features and updates which will see Vampr as relevant as ever and still growing come the turn of the next decade!

If you haven’t invested in Vampr yet, our crowdfunding campaign has less than 8 weeks to go. Time is running out! You can invest today at www.wefunder.com/vampr

This week we’re highlighting several more incredibly accomplished individuals who have recently backed Vampr, backed our vision, and invested through our Wefunder page.

Manfred Mueller

Manfred

In September, TeamViewer scored the biggest European IPO of 2019. As a Senior Vice President of the market-leading remote support company, Manfred knows a thing or two about taking a product from its early stages to a public listing.

In Manfred’s own words, he says, “I was already following Vampr for quite a while. I love the approach, the simplicity and the scalability of the app. Beside my main job at TeamViewer I also work as an artist manager and talent scout for my own label — I know how important it is to find the right people to work with. When I heard of the possibility to invest in Vampr I didn’t have to think for too long.”

John R. Patrick

John

A former Vice President of Internet Technology at IBM, where he worked for 35 years. Writer of six books (yes, six). Fellow of the IEEE. Holds degrees in electrical engineering, management, law, and health administration. We also assume he gets rest from time to time!

And if all of that doesn’t sound accomplished enough, he has recently taken on the Executive Chairman role in startup Wifigen.

Frank Varrasso

Frank

Australia’s most in-demand radio plugger (*pluggers help get your music played on the radio). Frank launched his firm Varrasso PR in January 2009, and he recently took on the role of Radio Promotions Manager at Ditto Music. Prior to this he was the Senior Director of National Promotions and Publicity at Sony Music. He has also run promotions and publicity departments for numerous other record labels, including Warner Music, EMI, and Festival/Mushroom Records.

Over his 20 years in the music industry, Frank has worked with artists including P!nk, Justin Timberlake, Kings of Leon, Oasis, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Madonna, Blur, Green Day, Foo Fighters, Beyonce, Neil Finn, Pete Murray, Kimbra and ZHU, to name but a few.

Frank added, “As a radio plugger I’ve always relied on word of mouth for business. Vampr both helps educate the next generation of artists that roles like mine exist, whilst also serving as a phenomenal multi-directional lead gen tool.”

We’re beyond thrilled to call each of these accomplished individuals our business partners and we’re positive the company will be richer in every sense with their involvement moving forward.

With over 700 investors now there are undoubtedly many more of you with skills, access and credentials that could benefit Vampr — we ask that you please let yourself be known and get in touch with us via email. Baz and I would love to chat ✌️

Earlier in the week we shared with you that we had set a closing date for our campaign. Whilst we’re excited about getting back to constructing code again, some of our new Wefunder investors have been busy constructing number plates instead… frankly we love this and wholly endorse it!

So far we have Kevin in Indiana with his VAMPR1 plate (someone else had already blagged VAMPR in his state… 🤔)

Then we have this sighting in Los Angeles, California, sent to us by one of our investors, but the owner remains anonymous!

We absolutely support this movement — please keep sending us your custom Vampr plates — what a fun way to support the company you own a piece of ✌️

Good afternoon!

We are super excited to announce that we recently finalized a substantial Term Sheet to the tune of $500,000 with US firm RZN8 Capital, for an equity stake in Vampr Inc.

In conjunction with the current crowdfunding tally, we are well on our way to reaching the magical $1,000,000 mark.

It’s now time to get on with building the company!

With this in mind, we have today set a closing date of January 16th for our crowdfunder. So if Vampr has been on your radar, now is your last chance to jump on board.

Behind some considerable feedback from our younger userbase, we are also moving the minimum investment amount back to $100 so that everyone can participate. By lowering the minimum and closing the round just after Christmas, we’re also hoping more than just a few of you will be able to put some of Santa’s money towards joining us in growing Vampr 🎅😉

Hi guys,

We’re back this week with Part 2 of your September Stories. These are just some of the adventures that we’ve learned about in the past month from the 5000+ connections being made every single day on Vampr.

Much like we saw with Jyoti and Deepak in Part 1 of our September Stories, Vampr does occasionally play a bigger role in people’s lives, beyond simply finding a musical match. Understandably not everyone feels comfortable going on camera to declare their love, so with permission, this week we’re going to highlight a few additional stories of people finding love on Vampr, narrated by yours truly 😉

We want to be clear, Vampr was not designed for and will never be a dating platform, but Baz and I had an inkling from the outset that if this thing was going to take off there would inevitably be situations where people would end up dating, getting married, or simply forming lifelong friendships.

For us there’s no better feeling in the world than hearing it directly from you. You know what else we love hearing about? When Vampr users get featured in the press — that’s right! We’ve got yet another story from September with a Vampr act showing up in their local newspaper. Check it out!

To wrap things up we have a European tale of a production duo from Berlin finding a vocalist in London who can be heard on their new single ‘Still Sinking’, out now!
